Does Vastu work in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Vastu Shastra is organised around directions, which are the same in Saudi Arabia as in India, so its guidance applies to a villa in Riyadh or a flat in Jeddah. Renting in Saudi Arabia: Vastu without changing anything
Most Indian families in Saudi Arabia rent, a flat in the city or a villa in a compound, usually on a yearly lease, so a good choice stays with you all year. A rented home cannot be rebuilt, but Vastu still helps in two ways: choosing the right home before you sign, and arranging the one you live in.

Saudi homes, read correctly
The report uses the names on your plan and reads them the way a home here is built:
Read as a living and reception room. Traditionally best: North, North-East or East.
Read as staff bedrooms. Traditionally best: North-West, the zone traditionally linked with Vayu (air) and movement.
Read as outdoor areas. Traditionally best: North, North-East or East.
Read as kitchens, each by its direction. Traditionally best: South-East, the zone traditionally linked with Agni (fire). North-West is the usual second choice.
A pooja shelf or prayer corner is read as a prayer space. Traditionally best: North-East (Ishanya), traditionally the most sacred zone.
Indian-style plans often call the living room the "hall". On the confirm screen, choose Living room for it.

A law that took effect in January 2026 lets non-Saudis own property in designated areas, under conditions, with special rules for Makkah and Madinah. The sun over a home in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia lies close to the Tropic of Cancer, so the midday sun is high all year and almost overhead in summer. In Riyadh it stands about 89° above the horizon at midday in June and about 42° in December; in Dammam about 87° and 40°. Jeddah lies south of the Tropic, so there the midday sun is on the north side of the sky for about 48 days around June. Daylight runs from about 10.6 hours in mid-winter to 13.7 hours in mid-summer.
