Your name number is the total of the Chaldean values of the letters in the name you use daily, reduced to one digit. A name is considered lucky when that number is a friend of both your Mulank (birth day number) and your Bhagyank (full date of birth number). Two rules keep the suggestions safe. A name total of 4 or 8 is never suggested unless your Mulank is that same number, because Rahu (4) and Saturn (8) are traditionally heavy numbers for a name.
