Why VastuIQ standardized on the 32-pada system: this degree-based method (11.25° sectors) allows precise, drag-to-position calculation and matches the methodology used across serious Vastu analysis tools — rather than the older 9-division-per-wall convention some traditions use. Each direction's 8 positions on the calculator correspond exactly to 8 of the 32 compass sectors — dividing a wall into 8 equal parts and dividing 90° into 8 equal parts produce the same result.
