1. Who We Are

VastuIQ is an AI-powered Vastu Shastra analysis platform — a product of GarahPravesh.com — operated by Manoj Jangra, an individual operating from Zirakpur, Punjab, India.

This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered at vastuiq.com including Vastu Analyzer, AI Floor Plan Analyzer, Numerology Compatibility Checker, DishaAI chat and all related tools and pages.

By using VastuIQ, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Name and email address — when you contact us or provide your email for report delivery
• Full name and date of birth — when using the Numerology Checker for compatibility analysis. This is used solely for calculation purposes.
• Property details — property number, address, city, property type entered into our tools
• Floor plan images or PDFs — uploaded for AI Floor Plan analysis. See Section 4 for full details on how these are handled.
• Chat messages — conversations with DishaAI. These are processed in real time and are not permanently stored by VastuIQ.
• Contact form submissions — name, email, subject and message when you contact us

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, tools used, time spent on pages. Collected via standard web analytics.
• Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, screen size for compatibility purposes
• IP address — used for approximate location detection to apply geo-adaptation in Vastu scoring. Not stored permanently.
• Local storage data — language preference, daily usage limits for DishaAI. Stored only in your browser, not on our servers.

2.3 Payment Information

VastuIQ does not collect, process or store any payment card information. All payments are processed directly by Razorpay. VastuIQ receives only a payment confirmation reference ID from Razorpay after a successful transaction. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to payment data: razorpay.com/privacy

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide Vastu analysis, numerology calculations and AI-powered guidance through our tools
• To deliver purchased reports via download or email
• To respond to contact form submissions and support queries
• To improve the accuracy and relevance of our tools
• To apply geo-adaptive Vastu scoring based on your location
• To maintain daily usage limits for free services (stored locally in your browser)
• To send your purchased report to an email address you voluntarily provide

4. Floor Plan and Document Privacy

This section is important. When you upload a floor plan image or PDF to VastuIQ's AI Floor Plan Analyzer:

• Your floor plan is transmitted securely over HTTPS to our server
• Our server immediately forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API for AI analysis
• The floor plan is processed by Anthropic's AI model in real time
• The AI returns an analysis result — rooms, scores, observations
• VastuIQ does not store your floor plan image or PDF on our servers after the analysis is complete
• The file is not saved, archived, shared or used for any purpose beyond the immediate analysis you requested

Anthropic processes your uploaded document under their own privacy policy as a data processor. Their policy is available at: anthropic.com/privacy

5. Third Party Services

VastuIQ uses the following third party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — powers AI Floor Plan analysis and DishaAI chat. Your messages and uploaded documents are processed by Anthropic. Policy: anthropic.com/privacy
• Razorpay — payment processing for report purchases. VastuIQ never sees your card details. Policy: razorpay.com/privacy
• Google Fonts — fonts (Cormorant Garamond, DM Sans) are loaded from Google's servers. Google may collect basic usage data. Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Hostinger — web hosting provider for vastuiq.com. Hostinger's servers host our website and proxy files. Policy: hostinger.com/privacy-policy

We choose third party services carefully. We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels or cross-site tracking tools on VastuIQ.

6. Data Storage and Retention

6.1 Data on Our Servers

VastuIQ operates a minimal data footprint. We do not maintain user accounts. Therefore, most user data is not stored on our servers at all. Specifically:

• Floor plan images and PDFs — not retained after analysis
• Chat messages with DishaAI — not stored by VastuIQ (processed in real time via API)
• Numerology calculation inputs — processed and not stored
• Vastu analysis inputs — processed and not stored

6.2 Data in Your Browser

The following data is stored only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to our servers:

• Language preference (English or Hindi)
• Daily usage counter for DishaAI free questions
• Daily usage date for AI Floor Plan free analysis

6.3 Contact and Email Data

If you contact us via the contact form or via email, your name, email address and message are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your query and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. We do not retain contact information for marketing purposes.

6.4 Payment Records

Payment confirmation reference IDs received from Razorpay are retained for accounting and dispute resolution purposes in accordance with applicable Indian law. No card or bank details are stored.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access — you may request details of any personal data we hold about you
• Right to correction — you may request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Right to deletion — you may request deletion of personal data we hold. Given our minimal data storage, most user data is not retained on our servers.
• Right to object — you may object to certain processing of your data
• Right to data portability — you may request your data in a portable format where technically feasible

8. Cookies

VastuIQ uses browser local storage — not traditional cookies — to store your language preference and daily usage data. This data is stored entirely within your own browser and is not transmitted to VastuIQ servers.

Third party services we use (Google Fonts, Razorpay) may set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling third party cookies will not affect the core functionality of VastuIQ tools.

VastuIQ does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site tracking.

9. Children's Privacy

VastuIQ services are intended for adults who are making or assisting with property purchase decisions. Our services are not directed at children under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@vastuiq.com and we will promptly delete such information.

10. International Users — GDPR and Global Compliance

10.1 European Union and United Kingdom Users (GDPR)

VastuIQ welcomes users from the EU and UK. We process your data under the following legal bases:

• Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver a service you have requested or paid for
• Legitimate interests — processing necessary to operate our platform, respond to queries and improve our services
• Consent — where we ask for and you voluntarily provide personal data such as an email address for report delivery

Data transfers from the EU/UK to India are governed by appropriate safeguards. Our third party processors (Anthropic, Razorpay) maintain their own GDPR compliance frameworks.

10.2 Indian Users

VastuIQ operates in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 as applicable to an online information platform.

10.3 Users in UAE, USA, Canada, Australia and Other Countries

VastuIQ is governed by the laws of India. Users from other jurisdictions agree to these terms when using our services. We do not guarantee compliance with the specific consumer protection laws of every country. If your local law provides rights beyond what we offer here, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information:

• All data transmission between your browser and our servers uses HTTPS encryption
• Our Anthropic API key is stored server-side only — never exposed in browser-facing code
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure
• We do not store floor plan images or sensitive personal data on our servers

No online system is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users via the website.

Continued use of VastuIQ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
